The classic yacht Keewaydin - LT1192 departing from Dunmore East, County Waterford, Ireland.

Built in 1913 as a trawler for Lowestoft owners, Keewaydin - LT1192, an
eighty foot gaff ketch, has trawled t
he North
Sea Banks, has carried cargo
in the B
altics and has served in both World Wars.

It circumnavigated the globe in the first Whitbread Round the World
Yacht Race in 1972 and is now employed in the holiday market.

Completely restored, Keewaydin provides crews the opportunity to
learn old skills and sail as it was done one hundred years ago.
